Associate Agapito Sustaita

Agapito Sustaita specializes in intellectual property law with an emphasis in patent preparation and prosecution. Mr. Sustaita has experience in a variety of technological areas, including digital signal processors, data analytics, virtual computing, computer architecture, storage devices, machine intelligence, databases, computer authentication systems, and user interfaces.

Mr. Sustaita received his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Mr. Sustaita received his Master of Science degree from Texas A&M University in College Station. For his masterís thesis at Texas A&M University, Mr. Sustaita worked on finding an efficient parallelization of a Cholesky factorization onto various parallel machine architectures.

Mr. Sustaita has worked at Apple Incorporated, where he worked on device driver development and code analysis tools. Mr. Sustaita has worked at The University of Texas at Austinís Applied Research Laboratory, where he worked on kernel programming and communication algorithms for digital signal processors. Mr. Sustaita has also worked at Intel Corporation, where he designed and implemented software development tools for a mobile device architecture.

Mr. Sustaita received his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from The University of Texas School of Law. Mr. Sustaita is a member of the Austin Intellectual Property Law Association, the Texas Aggie Bar Association, and is a member and co-founder of the Austin Chapter of Mexican American Engineers and Scientists.
